Meet Peter Sweet…
Peter has been entertaining for as long as he can remember. First memories are of imitating his mom while she was marching around the house delivering her lines. Then she asked him to read lines for her and from there began teaching the art of dramatic character acting and improvization, diction, phrasing and timing. She was an actress and teacher and began to take him with her to classes at about age 5.
His creativity has been utilized to create commercials on FOX, CBS TV, major Baltimore Radio stations and PBS TV. Peter speaks French and German,
Peter’s credits include Television dramas such as House of Cards, VEEP, Blue Bloods and Law and Order various HBO pilots and TV One, REELZ, Discovery, CNN and Bravo as well as radio Drama for BBC.
In various Featured ,dramatic and Independent films his roles include being murdered, a detective, a judge, a corpse, a Featured Rich Texan in the Oscar Nominated film “Jackie” and a general good guy neighbor in "The Neighborhood. His persona as Gargulon the monster and among Zombies is seen on Japanese television and his theater performance as LUCKY in "Waiting For Godot" as performed at the Washington DC Fringe Festival in July of 2016 received rave reviews from 3 D.C. theater critics. Peter took the role as lead in a 2017 performance of David Mamet's "Lakeboat" as well as a member of a travellling Murder Mystery Troupe in various improv character roles.
In addition, he is a noted Voice Over radio drama participant with BBC 4.
For 25 years Peter acted out Marketing plans and developments for entrepreneurs and Corporate America. His radio talk show WEBFOOT aired for 3 years on WYRE RADIO, Annapolis, MD and he is a published columnist.
As a supervisor for Arbitron / Nielson, he trained over 500 people in voice control and audience engagement. One of the best gigs was as a mascot with major performances in parades and at halftimes for major sports events.
Peter has an MBA from Morgan State University and a BA from Albion College in Michigan and is a native of Mentor, Ohio as well as living in Belgium for 3 years and travelling Europe. He is married and has 2 daughters.
